Fluke till ya puke
The biggest fishing event in the history of Rhode Island (RI) is Fluke Til Ya Puke. If you are a fisherman or fisher-woman at heart you must participate in this event at least once in your life. It is held every June. Many fishermen/fisherwomen enthusiasts are not strangers to big game fishing RI. It must be noted that there is a great difference between knowing about this event and participating in it. You must participate in this event to see the reason many people look forward to it every year.
4/27/2020 Update:
Fluke til ya puke 2020 has been cancelled. This is not good news but it is what it is. No fishing for Fluke this year at the fishing tournament.
Why this fishing tournament?
Fluke Til Ya Puke is a great event because of a several reasons. This event that whole family can participate in and it offers several prizes base on your entry level. You must try it! Even if your motivation is just to get the tee-shirt and to enjoy all you can eat with drinks at the barbecue.
The contest is very competitive and fun. There are different levels of prizes you can win based on the categories you enter. The general admission fees for the event range from adult angler ($55.00) to junior angler ($45.00). There are other fees if you plan on participating in the competitive activities. Fluke til ya puke Fishing Tournament has created six categories of competition in this event. You can enter the Biggest Blue Fish Calcutta and Biggest Non-Gamefish Calcutta for $10 per person.
You can enter 3 Biggest Fluke Calcutta for $20 per person. The Highest Stakes Biggest Fluke Calcutta’s entry fee is $100 per person. The Grand High Stakes Biggest Fluke Calcutta is $500 per person. Each competition awards cash prizes to the winners.
How much can you win?
The Biggest Fluke grand cash prize is $5000. People travel from all over the world to participate in this event. There is no other Fluke Calcutta contest on the planet pays cash prizes as high at this one and the competition is fierce!
We hope to see you at FTYP in 2020 fishing tournament, that is if the fluke are in and the COVID-19 doesn't stop us. We are going to try and catch the biggest fluke and hopefully earn a cash prize, or hopefully get our entry fee back! Don't forget Fluke Till Ya Puke!
